Today’s Scripture: (John 11:25)
Jesus said unto her, I am the resurrection, and the life: he that believeth in me, though he were dead, yet shall he live.
RHAPSODY OF REALITIES DEVOTIONAL FOR TODAY SUNDAY 15TH NOVEMBER 2026.
Faith doesn’t recognise impossibilities because it knows the One in whom it believes. Men may conclude that a situation is beyond remedy or that an opportunity has been lost forever but God isn’t limited by time, human calculations or the seeming finality of circumstances. He gives life to the dead and calls those things which be not as though they were. This was the faith that Abraham demonstrated. The Bible says he believed “…God, who quickeneth the dead, and calleth those things which be not as though they were” (Romans 4:17).
Though his own body was now dead, being about a hundred years old, and Sarah’s womb had long ceased to function, he refused to stagger at God’s promise through unbelief. Instead, he was strong in faith, giving glory to God, being fully persuaded that what God had promised, He was able also to perform (Romans 4:19-21). That’s how faith thinks. It sees beyond natural limitations because it trusts in the God who gives life to the dead. The account of Lazarus reveals this truth even more powerfully.
When the Master was informed that Lazarus was sick, He waited four days before responding. By the time He arrived, Lazarus had been in the tomb for four days. To everyone around, it was over. But Jesus wasn’t moved by their conclusion because He wasn’t merely bringing resurrection; He is the Resurrection and the Life. When He called, “Lazarus, come forth,” death had no choice but to give way to life. His presence changed what men considered irreversible.
The same Jesus lives in you today by the Holy Spirit. The Resurrection and the Life isn’t merely with you; He lives in you, and His victorious life is expressed in and through you. Therefore, never conclude that it’s too late for God to act in your situation. Never allow circumstances to dictate your expectation. If He could call a dead man out of the grave after four days, there’s no circumstance beyond His power and no situation beyond His ability to transform. Keep your focus on Him and on His Word. Refuse to accept defeat, failure, or death. The One who conquered death lives in you, and His victory is your victory. His resurrection life is at work in you, producing victory, dominion, and endless possibilities.
PRAYER
Thank you, dear heavenly Father, for your resurrection life at work in me that produces victory, dominion and endless possibilities. I refuse to be limited by circumstances, time, or human reasoning. Nothing is impossible unto me because I walk in faith, manifesting your glory and righteousness, in Jesus’ Name. Amen.
