Scripture: “And be ye kind one to another, tenderhearted, forgiving one another, even as God for Christ’s sake hath forgiven you.” – Ephesians 4:32
Reflection:
Forgiveness is one of the greatest expressions of God’s love working through us. It is easy to hold on to bitterness, especially when wronged deeply, but unforgiveness poisons the soul more than it hurts the offender. When you refuse to forgive, you build a prison for yourself, while the person you resent may go about freely. God calls you to forgive not because the offender deserves it but because you have been forgiven through Christ. Forgiveness releases you into freedom and peace. Jesus forgave those who crucified Him, setting the ultimate example. Every day presents opportunities to either forgive or harbor grudges. Choose forgiveness, not because it is easy but because it is godly. When you walk in forgiveness, you walk in freedom, and your prayers ascend unhindered before God.
Prayer Point: Lord, give me the grace to forgive those who hurt me and to walk in love as You have forgiven me through Christ.
