Reflection:
Life on earth is temporary, but eternity is forever. The trials and struggles of today are preparing us for a glory that far outweighs them. Paul calls afflictions “light” not because they are easy but because he compares them to eternal glory. As believers, our ultimate hope is not in this world but in the life to come. This perspective changes how we endure suffering. When you fix your eyes on eternity, you realize that nothing in this world is permanent—neither pain nor pleasure. You are a pilgrim passing through, destined for glory with Christ. This hope motivates holiness, endurance, and faithfulness. Every tear, every sacrifice, every act of faith is recorded and will be rewarded. As November ends, let your heart be set not just on earthly success but on eternal glory with Christ.
