At the center of Christmas is not decorations, traditions, or even gatherings—it is Christ, the greatest gift ever given. God’s gift cannot be measured by human standards. Through Christ, we receive forgiveness, reconciliation, eternal life, and the fullness of grace. This gift is “unspeakable,” too vast for words, because it continues to unfold in every believer’s life. To reject this gift is to miss the essence of life itself. As December celebrates Christ’s birth, reflect on what this gift means to you personally. Christ is the treasure above all treasures, the gift that keeps on giving into eternity.
