Focus: Courage to Move Forward
Scripture: “Have not I commanded thee? Be strong and of a good courage; be not afraid, neither be thou dismayed: for the LORD thy God is with thee whithersoever thou goest.” – Joshua 1:9
Reflection:
Life often requires courage to step into the unknown, to face challenges, or to pursue new assignments. When Joshua was about to lead Israel into the Promised Land, God’s instruction was not about strategy but about courage. Courage is not the absence of fear but the decision to move forward despite fear. It comes from the assurance that God is with you wherever you go. Courage is essential to obey God’s call, to resist compromise, and to endure trials. Without it, many remain stuck in comfort zones, missing out on God’s greater plans. True courage is not self-confidence but God-confidence. When you know that the Almighty walks with you, you can confront giants and cross rivers without trembling. Today, whatever lies before you, choose courage, for God is your strength.
Prayer Point: Father, give me courage to face every challenge before me and to move forward in faith, knowing You are with me.
Inspiring Quote: “Courage is fear that has said its prayers.” – Karl Barth
This Is the Assurance of Answers to Your Prayers – Matthew 7:7-11
Ask, and it will be given to you; seek, and you will find; knock, and it will be opened to you. For everyone who asks receives, and the one who seeks finds, and to the one who knocks it will be opened…YOUR FATHER WHO IS IN HEAVEN GIVE GOOD THINGS TO THOSE WHO ASK HIM!
