Focus: The Joy of the Lord
Scripture: “The joy of the LORD is your strength.” – Nehemiah 8:10
Reflection:
True joy does not come from circumstances but from the Lord. Unlike happiness, which depends on external situations, joy is a fruit of the Spirit rooted in God’s presence. When the Israelites heard the law of God and wept over their sins, Nehemiah encouraged them to rejoice, for joy brings strength. A joyful heart is powerful—it sustains you in trials, uplifts you in sorrow, and gives you resilience against despair. Joy is contagious; it spreads hope to others and glorifies God. The enemy knows this, which is why he constantly tries to steal your joy through discouragement and negative thoughts. But you can resist him by choosing to rejoice in the Lord always. When you focus on God’s goodness rather than your problems, joy flows like a river within. Today, make a deliberate choice to rejoice, no matter what.
Prayer Point: Lord, fill my heart with Your joy and let it be my strength in every circumstance of life.
Inspiring Quote: “Joy is the serious business of heaven.” – C.S. Lewis

This Is the Assurance of Answers to Your Prayers – Matthew 7:7-11

Ask, and it will be given to you; seek, and you will find; knock, and it will be opened to you. For everyone who asks receives, and the one who seeks finds, and to the one who knocks it will be opened…YOUR FATHER WHO IS IN HEAVEN GIVE GOOD THINGS TO THOSE WHO ASK HIM!
