Focus: A Prayer for Compassion

Scripture Reference: 1 Peter 3:8

“Finally, all of you, be like-minded, be sympathetic, love one another, be compassionate and humble.”

Reflection:

Compassion is at the heart of Christ’s ministry, and it’s a quality that we are called to embody as His followers. It involves being sensitive to the needs and sufferings of others and responding with love and care. True compassion comes from a place of humility, recognizing that we are all in need of God’s grace. As we interact with others, let’s strive to be compassionate, offering kindness and understanding, just as Christ has shown to us.

Thank you for the compassion you have shown me through Christ. May I reflect that same compassion in my interactions with others, bringing hope and healing wherever I go. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
