Focus: A Prayer for Patience

“Be still before the Lord and wait patiently for him; do not fret when people succeed in their ways, when they carry out their wicked schemes.”
Reflection:
Patience is a virtue that often requires us to wait on God’s timing rather than our own. In a world that values immediacy, waiting can be difficult. However, God calls us to trust in His perfect timing. When we wait patiently for the Lord, we demonstrate our faith in His wisdom and sovereignty. Patience allows us to rest in God’s plan, knowing that He is working all things together for our good, even when we cannot see the outcome.
PRAYER FOR TODAY 2ND DECEMBER 2024.
Prayer: Heavenly Father, teach me to be patient and to trust in your timing. Help me to wait quietly before you, knowing that you are in control of every situation. Thank you for your faithfulness and for the peace that comes from trusting in you. May I learn to be still and know that you are God. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
