Focus: A Prayer for Comfort

Scripture Reference: 2 Corinthians 1:3-4

“Praise be to the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of compassion and the God of all comfort, who comforts us in all our troubles.”

Reflection:

God is the source of all comfort, providing solace and support in our times of trouble. His compassion extends to every aspect of our suffering, offering comfort that transcends our circumstances. Through His comfort, we find peace and strength to face difficult times. Additionally, God calls us to comfort others with the same comfort we receive from Him, creating a cycle of compassion and support within the community of believers.

PRAYER FOR TODAY 20TH OCTOBER 2024.

Prayer: Lord, I seek your comfort today. Be with me in my troubles and provide solace and peace as only you can. Thank you for being the God of all comfort and for extending your compassion to me. Help me to share your comfort with others and to be a source of support and encouragement in their times of need. In Jesus’ name, Amen.

Ask, and it will be given to you; seek, and you will find; knock, and it will be opened to you. For everyone who asks receives, and the one who seeks finds, and to the one who knocks it will be opened…YOUR FATHER WHO IS IN HEAVEN GIVE GOOD THINGS TO THOSE WHO ASK HIM!
