Reflection:
Humility is a key characteristic of the Christian life, exemplified by Jesus Himself. He humbled Himself by becoming human and serving others, even to the point of death on a cross. As we reflect on the humility of Christ during this season, we are reminded to live humbly as well, valuing others above ourselves and seeking to serve rather than be served. Humility opens the door for God to work powerfully in our lives.
PRAYER FOR TODAY 15TH DECEMBER 2024.
Prayer: Lord, help me to walk in humility, following the example of Jesus. May I put others before myself and seek to serve with a heart of love and compassion. Thank you for the humility that Jesus showed in coming to earth, and may I reflect that same humility in my life. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
