As we draw closer to Christmas, there is a sense of joyful anticipation. We look forward to celebrating the birth of Jesus, our Savior. This anticipation is not just about the festivities but about the deep joy that comes from knowing that God is with us. He delights in us and rejoices over us with singing. This season is a reminder that we are deeply loved by God and that His presence brings us great joy.

Prayer: Lord, thank you for the joy of this season and for the anticipation of celebrating Jesus’ birth. Help me to keep my focus on you and to experience the deep joy that comes from knowing that you are with us. May this joyful anticipation fill my heart and overflow to those around me. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
