A man that hath friends must shew himself friendly: and there is a friend that sticketh closer than a brother.
Friendship is beautiful that can propel a fellow towards achieving a glorious destiny. On the other hand, friendship can also mar someone’s destiny. This is the reason the Bible warns us to be wise about the people we associate with.
The first thing that will guide you in choosing the right friends is the discovery of your purpose. When you realise why God sent you to the earth, you will be careful to choose the right people as friends to help you on your journey. Some people have destroyed their destinies, businesses, or marriages because of friends, while some have been launched into greatness as a result of their friends.
My dear child, the ball is in your court. Choose friendships that will help you fulfil your God-given purpose, not the ones that will pull you down. While you must choose wise company, you must also look at yourself and ask, “Am I a good friend?” The Bible says: A man that hath friends must shew himself friendly:… Proverbs 18:2
