The Topic of Teenagers Open Heavens for Sunday 29 Th October 2023 Is “Redeemed from Fear”
Read: Galatians 4:4-7
4 But when the fulness of the time was come, God sent forth his Son, made of a woman, made under the law,
5 To redeem them that were under the law, that we might receive the adoption of sons.
6 And because ye are sons, God hath sent forth the Spirit of his Son into your hearts, crying, Abba, Father.
7 Wherefore thou art no more a servant, but a son; and if a son, then an heir of God through Christ.
Memorise: Hebrews 2:15
And deliver them who through fear of death were all their lifetime subject to bondage.
The benefits of redemption are innumerable. Anytime I remember what I suffered in the hands of satan and his agents before the blood of Jesus Christ redeemed me, I cannot help but thank God for the salvation of my soul. Fear was a major source of torment before I met Jesus Christ.
This fear was passed unto me from my mother who, by the grace of God, also later became saved. For fear that I, being her only son, might be killed, my mother sent me far away from my hometown. I could not return for many years for fear of death and the wicked people there. However, when we surrendered to the Lordship of Jesus Christ, we were saved and liberated from the spirit of fear.
This is why I decree, if you have been living in perpetual fear, you are delivered from that torment now in the name of Jesus.
Hebrews 2:14-15 says:
“14 Forasmuch then as the children are partakers of flesh and blood, he also himself likewise took part of the same; that through death he might destroy him that had the power of death, that is the devil; 15 and deliver them who through fear of death were all their lifetime subject to bondage.”
Dear child, hand over your fears to the Lord in prayers, and you will be alright.
CONFESSION:
I have been delivered from the spirit of fear: I am free indeed.

HYMN 4 – On A Hill Far Away
- On a hill far away
Stood an old rugged cross,
The emblem of suffering and shame;
And I love that old cross
Where the dearest and best
For a world of lost sinners was slain.
CHORUS
So I’ll cherish the old rugged cross
Till my trophies at last I lay down;
I will cling to the old rugged cross;
And exchange it someday for a crown.
- Oh, that old rugged cross
So despised by the world,
Has a wondrous attraction for me;
For the dear Lamb of God
Left His glory above,
To bear it to dark Calvary. - In the old rugged cross,
Stained with blood so divine,
A wondrous beauty I see;
For ’twas on that old cross
Je-sus suffered and died,
To par -don and sanc-ti-fy me. - To the old rugged cross
I will ever be true,
Its shame and reproach gladly bear;
Then He’ll call me some day
To my home far away,
Where His glory for-ever share
