Read: Matthew 15:21-28
21 Then Jesus went thence, and departed into the coasts of Tyre and Sidon.
22 And, behold, a woman of Canaan came out of the same coasts, and cried unto him, saying, Have mercy on me, O Lord, thou Son of David; my daughter is grievously vexed with a devil.
23 But he answered her not a word. And his disciples came and besought him, saying, Send her away; for she crieth after us.
24 But he answered and said, I am not sent but unto the lost sheep of the house of Israel.
25 Then came she and worshipped him, saying, Lord, help me.
26 But he answered and said, It is not meet to take the children’s bread, and to cast it to dogs.
27 And she said, Truth, Lord: yet the dogs eat of the crumbs which fall from their masters’ table.
28 Then Jesus answered and said unto her, O woman, great is thy faith: be it unto thee even as thou wilt. And her daughter was made whole from that very hour.

But, beloved, be not ignorant of this one thing, that one day is with the Lord as a thousand years, and a thousand years as one day.
The first time I read 1 Corinthians after I got born again, I had a feeling that Paul was referring to me because I could recall who I was before God saved me. Many people had tried to get me converted but failed, however, when this great God was ready for me, He did in minutes what men could not do in many years.
I remember the story of a woman who was vomiting continually many years ago. The doctors had examined her and found nothing wrong with her, yet, the vomiting didn’t stop. They also administered several medications to her, but still there was no improvement. So, she was brought to the church for prayers. During the service, I told the congregation to “Praise the Lord”, and she responded with a loud “Hallelujah”. As she responded, a worm jumped out of her mouth, and she became instantly healed.
My child, you need to know that praises move this great God. He can turn things around for you within minutes when you praise Him. When next you need urgent help.just sing praises to God.
ACTION POINT
Spend at least 30 minutes praising the Almighty God today.
