The Topic of Teenagers Open Heavens for Friday 27th December 2024 Is “Wearing A Mask?”
Read: 1 Timothy 4:1-2
1. Now the Spirit speaketh expressly, that in the latter times some shall depart from the faith, giving heed to seducing spirits, and doctrines of devils;
2. Speaking lies in hypocrisy; having their conscience seared with a hot iron;

Lying lips are abomination to the LORD: but they that deal truly are his delight.,
A mask is a material that is used to fully or partially disguise a fellow so as not to be recognized. It could also refer to a lifestyle that hides the real personality of a person. As a believer, wearing a mask shows hypocrisy or deception and is not an attribute of a true Christian.
God expects His children to be honest and truthful in all things. Philippians 4:8 says:
Finally, brethren, whatsoever things are true, whatsoever things are honest, whatsoever things are just, whatsoever things are pure, whatsoever things are lovely, whatsoever things are of good report; if there be any virtue, and if there be any praise, think on these things.
Your behaviour should show what is inside you. Whatever you say should not need to be fact-checked, and when it is, it should be as you have said it. When you apologise for doing wrong, it should be sincere and not deceitful. If a fellow is not honest, God will not entrust responsibilities to him or her.
PRAYER POINT:
Father, please help me not to live a life of hypocrisy, in Jesus’ name.
