The Topic of Teenagers Open Heavens for Friday 19 Th May 2023 Is “You Can Be Perfect”
Read: Matthew 5:48
48 Be ye therefore perfect, even as your Father which is in heaven is perfect.

Therefore leaving the principles of the doctrine of Christ, let us go on unto perfection;
Many Christians believe it is not humanly possible to be perfect, but Jesus said that we should be perfect, just our Father in Heaven is. This means perfection is attainable. All we have to do is walk in His footsteps and follow the examples He has set for us. Since Jesus in His human form lived in perfection, it is equally possible for you as a believer to be perfect.
To live in perfection is to deny one’s self of all fleshly desires and be holy. Turn away from your old lifestyle and stick to God. I want you to know that perfection is not a day’s job: it is a gradual process.
Therefore, feed yourself with the word of God daily: it will help you live a holy life daily. When you wake every morning, ask for His help to be holy for the rest of the day: that’s how holiness becomes a lifestyle, not just a habit. Consciously avoiding sin is a step to perfection.
