The Topic of Teenagers Open Heavens for Sunday 9th November 2025 Is “Good Deeds”

“And as ye would that men should do to you, do ye also to them likewise.”
Being good to people is one of God’s commandments, but sadly, not everyone obeys it sincerely. Many people help others only when it is convenient or when they expect something in return. Some Christians even choose to do good only when they are in a good mood — but that’s not the way Jesus taught us to love.
The Bible teaches that we should love others and do good at all times, whether or not it is appreciated or reciprocated. It is not scriptural to say, “Love is reciprocal; if you don’t love me, I won’t love you.” The Bible commands us to “love our neighbour as ourselves.”
If you love to eat good food, make sure your neighbour does too. If you like to wear nice clothes, ensure that someone around you also looks good. The little acts of kindness you show can make a huge difference in someone’s life.
Remember the story in Matthew 14:17–19 — a small boy shared his lunch of five loaves and two fishes, and Jesus used it to feed more than 5,000 people! This teaches that your good deeds, no matter how small, can be multiplied by God to bless many others. So, don’t wait until you have plenty before you start doing good. Start with what you have today!
