“Commit your way to the LORD, trust also in Him, and He shall bring it to pass.”
Many teenagers today have experienced disappointment from people they trusted. Some trusted friends, mentors, or even adults who eventually let them down, leaving them hurt and confused. What many fail to realise is that human beings are limited and imperfect—they can make mistakes, fail, or disappoint others, even when they mean well.
God, however, is not like man. He can never fail, never change, and never disappoint anyone who puts their trust in Him. This is why you should never place your absolute trust in people.
Your parents, friends, teachers, and pastors are important and deserve respect, but they are still human. Instead of trusting people completely, trust God to guide and work through their lives.
God wants you to trust Him in every area of your life—your education, friendships, family matters, future plans, and even your fears. Trusting God means depending on Him fully and believing that He is able to help you in every situation. He is unlimited in power and wisdom, and nothing is too difficult for Him.
My dear child, when God sees that you truly trust Him, He steps in to take control of situations that seem overwhelming. When you feel weak, confused, or discouraged, draw strength from God. Commit your plans, dreams, and worries to Him in prayer, and trust that He will work everything out for your good.
KEY POINT:
When God sees that you trust Him, He will help you overcome every challenge you face.
