The Topic of Teenagers Open Heavens for Sunday 7th December 2025 Is “Abraham’s Altars”
Read: Genesis 15:2–6 (KJV)

“And the Lord appeared unto Abram, and said, Unto thy seed will I give this land: and there builded he an altar unto the Lord, who appeared unto him.”
The book of Genesis shows clearly the deep and cordial relationship Abraham enjoyed with God.
He walked with God, conversed with Him, and consistently honoured Him. Each time he moved to a new place, he built an altar—making his encounter with God tangible and permanent.
This practice is both symbolic and powerful. Our father in the Lord recounts how he adopted the same pattern by setting aside prayer rooms in every house he lived in. Today, one of those altars has become the Open Heavens Gallery, a place where countless people have encountered God and received miracles.
Dear teen, you are not too young to build an altar of prayer—not a physical structure, but a dedicated space where you meet with God daily.
It could be a corner of your room, your study area, or a quiet spot in your hostel. What matters is the consistency and reverence you bring to that place.
Abraham built an altar near Bethel (Genesis 12:8), and years later, his grandson Jacob had a destiny-changing encounter with God in that same region.
Your altar of prayer today can become a place of divine encounters tomorrow—both for you and generations after you.
So, wherever you find yourself, start raising altars of prayer, worship, and consecration. Let them become dwelling places for God in your life.
