The Topic of Teenagers Open Heavens for Monday 3rd November 2025 Is “Emmanuel”
Read: Exodus 33:12–17 (KJV)
Memorise: “Behold, a virgin shall be with child, and shall bring forth a son, and they shall call his name Emmanuel, which being interpreted is, God with us.” — Matthew 1:23 (KJV)
The name Emmanuel means “God with us.” It expresses one of the most beautiful truths of the Christian faith — that God’s presence is not far away or unreachable; instead, He chooses to dwell with and in His children.
During my early walk with God, I discovered how powerful and precious it is to carry God’s presence wherever I go. His presence brings peace, protection, wisdom, and victory. No enemy can stand against a person who walks closely with God.
In today’s Bible passage, Moses understood this truth very well. When God commanded him to lead the Israelites to the Promised Land, he boldly said that he would not move unless God’s presence went with them. He knew that without God’s presence, all human effort would fail. But with God, victory was certain.
My dear child, you also need to ensure that God’s presence goes with you daily — to school, at home, or anywhere you go. When God is with you, you are shielded from harm, blessed with divine favour, and guided in every decision. His presence makes the difference between failure and success.
However, there is a responsibility that comes with this great privilege. If you truly carry God’s presence, you must live a life of holiness. God’s eyes are always on those who belong to Him, and He cannot dwell where sin reigns. So, keep your heart pure and your ways upright, and you will continually enjoy the blessings of Emmanuel — God with you.
