TEENS OPEN HEAVENS DAILY DEVOTIONAL 28TH JANUARY 2026:

Putting yourself in other people’s shoes means trying to see life from their point of view and responding with kindness and compassion. This simple habit goes a long way in showing love and helping others feel understood and valued.

Today’s memory verse reminds us to be there for people in every season—celebrating with them in good times and supporting them during tough moments.

Jesus consistently demonstrated compassion. Whenever He encountered the hungry, the sick, or the broken-hearted, He did not ignore their pain. Instead, He responded with love and met their needs. You can follow His example by being kind, avoiding quick judgments, and offering genuine support to those around you.

Learning to empathise with others helps you listen more carefully and respond more wisely. Sometimes, the best way to show love is not by trying to solve someone’s problems, but by simply listening and being present.

When a friend shares their struggles with you, listen patiently—without interrupting or rushing to give advice. Your understanding and care may be exactly what they need.
