He has made everything beautiful in its time. Also He has put eternity in their hearts, except that no one can find out the work that God does from beginning to end.
Waiting on God’s timing can be difficult, especially when answers to our prayers seem delayed. The story of Abraham and Sarah in today’s Bible reading, however, reminds us that God always fulfils His promises at the right time.
If you have been trusting God for a breakthrough, I want you to know that He is never slow concerning His promises; He will surely answer you at His appointed time (Habakkuk 2:3).
A woman once testified that her son was born with learning disabilities that affected his reading and writing capabilities. She prayed persistently until God directed her to me. By divine intervention, the boy’s mental capacity was transformed. He eventually graduated with a first-class university degree and also won seven awards in his Master’s programme.
My dear child, if you are in a waiting season, don’t waste your time crying or complaining. Instead, use the time to grow spiritually and deepen your relationship with God through prayer and consistent study of His word. Also, surround yourself with believers in a Bible-believing church and keep trusting God until your testimony comes.
CONFESSION:
I will not give up on God. I will wait on Him to fulfil all His promises to me.
