The Topic of Teenagers Open Heavens for Saturday 25th January 2025 Is “Get Rid Of Distractions”
Read: Hebrews 12:1-2
1 Wherefore seeing we also are compassed about with so great a cloud of witnesses, let us lay aside every weight, and the sin which doth so easily beset us, and let us run with patience the race that is set before us,
2 Looking unto Jesus the author and finisher of our faith; who for the joy that was set before him endured the cross, despising the shame, and is set down at the right hand of the throne of God.

But Peter put them all forth, and kneeled down, and prayed; and turning him to the body said, Tabitha, arise. And she opened her eyes: and when she saw Peter, she sat up.
Peter prayed for guidance, and God used him to perform the miracle of raising Tabitha from the dead. When God answered Peter’s prayers, the miracle strengthened the early church.I believe the world will become a better place when young people live holy lives and seek the genuine power of God to perform miracles. This would become a great source of evangelism to convert souls into the kingdom of God.
One notable thing Peter did before performing the miracle in today’s memory verse was to get rid of the distractions and sadness of the Women in Tabitha’s room so that he could focus on the Lord in prayer.
My dear child, I enjoin you to set your eyes solely on Jesus and not be distracted by the things of the world so you can do mighty things in your life and in God’s kingdom.

Set your eyes on Jesus.
