“Therefore, if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new.”
Everyone born into this world comes with a sinful nature inherited from Adam, the first man. But thank God for Jesus Christ, who gave His life to restore us back to God. When you genuinely surrender your life to Jesus, you are adopted into the family of God.
Today’s memory verse clearly shows that once a person is in Christ, he or she becomes a new creature — completely transformed. Before God, it is as though such a person had never sinned at all.
If you are now born again, it means you have a new identity in Christ, and your words, thoughts, and actions must reflect this new life. Do not return to old sinful habits; doing so is like crucifying Jesus repeatedly.
To remain true to your new identity, you must:
Study God’s word regularly.
Stay aligned with His commands.
Praise and worship Him daily.
Attend a Bible-believing church that teaches God’s undiluted truth.
Give to the needy and honour God with your tithes and offerings.
Dear child, choose to be fully committed to God. As you do, may your life remain fresh, fruitful, and evergreen in His presence, in Jesus’ name.
