The Topic of Teenagers Open Heavens for Friday 24th January 2026 Is “Choose Eternal Life”
Read: John 3:35–36 (KJV)

“For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.”
Eternal life is a precious gift that God freely gives to everyone who believes in Jesus Christ. When sin entered the world through Adam and Eve, spiritual death became a reality for humanity. However, when Jesus died on the cross of Calvary, He paid the price for our sins and made eternal life available to all who surrender their lives to Him.
When I was a young Christian, I once wondered if life truly continues after death. My father in the Lord, Pa Josiah Akindayomi, explained to me that people do not cease to exist; rather, they transition into another phase of life after death.
The Bible confirms this truth in Daniel 12:2, which tells us that everyone will rise again—some to everlasting life and others to everlasting separation from God.
Indeed, there is life after this earthly one, and everyone will face eternity. The difference lies in the choice we make here on earth. Those who believe in Jesus Christ as the only way to eternal life will enjoy everlasting joy with God. Those who reject Him will experience eternal separation from God.
My dear child, the choice is yours. Choose eternal life today by accepting Jesus Christ as your Lord and Saviour, if you have not already done so. By doing this, you secure your future with God and escape judgment on the last day.
