Open Heavens For Teens 23rd January 2026 – Are You Procrastinating?

Some people have a habit of postponing important tasks until it is almost too late to act. This habit is known as procrastination. I have observed that when procrastination becomes a lifestyle, it often turns the person into a victim of missed opportunities in life.

Many teenagers prefer doing things only when it feels convenient for them. However, this is not the best way to live. Time is very precious, and God expects us to use it wisely. Every time you delay or ignore something you should do immediately, you risk facing consequences that could have been avoided.

A wise person acts promptly and does not allow blessings, rewards, or opportunities to slip away because of delay.

Laziness and procrastination can hinder God’s work in a person’s life, family, church, and even the community. My dear child, do not take responsibilities lightly. Instead, cultivate a diligent and disciplined mindset. Learn to act early and finish tasks on time. Do not postpone until tomorrow what you can do today.

Procrastination is a bad habit. Do things as soon as you can do them.
