Humble yourselves in the sight of the Lord, and He will lift you up.
As a child of God, you carry great grace and potential within you. God has placed power in you to become great, but whenever He speaks about greatness, He always links it to humility. This shows us that humility is not optional—it is essential.
My dear child, if you truly desire greatness, you must intentionally develop humility as a lifestyle. Today’s Bible reading makes it clear that God resists the proud but gives grace to the humble. Pride pushes God away, but humility attracts His help.
I remember when God warned me that if I ever became proud, He would remove me, and my name would be forgotten. That warning stayed with me and helped shape my life. Today, no matter what God does through me, I make sure that all the glory goes back to Him alone.
No matter how intelligent, gifted, or privileged a person may be, true promotion comes only from God. It is not by talent, background, or connections. Proverbs 22:4 tells us that humility and the fear of the Lord bring riches, honour, and life. Therefore, never think you can succeed without God. Depend on Him daily and walk humbly before Him.
Remember, God lifts those who bow before Him.
