TEENS OPEN HEAVENS DAILY DEVOTIONAL 1ST NOVEMBER 2025
When Lazarus fell sick, his sisters — Mary and Martha — immediately sent for Jesus. They believed that if Jesus came, their brother would be healed. However, Jesus delayed His visit for a reason. By the time He arrived, Lazarus had been dead and buried for four days.
Even though everyone thought it was too late, Jesus had a greater miracle planned. He wanted to reveal Himself not just as a healer, but as “the Resurrection and the Life.” When Martha expressed her faith in Him, Jesus raised Lazarus from the dead, proving that no situation is ever beyond His power.
This story teaches a powerful lesson about faith and patience. Sometimes, when God doesn’t respond immediately to your prayers, it’s not because He doesn’t care — it’s because He wants to do something even greater than what you expect.
My dear child, are you going through a tough situation in your life, school, family, or community? Does it seem like your prayers are not being answered? Don’t lose hope. Keep praying and trusting in Jesus. He can bring life to every “dead” situation — your dreams, your gifts, your joy, or your faith.
Remember, delay is not denial. Just like He did for Lazarus, Jesus can restore whatever seems lost and make your life a testimony of His power.

Father, please attend to my cries today and change my life for the better.
