Open Heavens For Teens 19th November 2025 – Don’t Be Dirty

TEENS OPEN HEAVEN FOR TODAY.

No matter how gifted, talented, or anointed a person may be, poor hygiene can ruin how people relate with them. A dirty appearance, unpleasant odour, or an untidy environment can push people away—even when you carry grace.

When I began my ministry as a full-time pastor in Lagos, I had to move from my comfortable mansion in Ilorin into a small one-room apartment in Mushin.

The place was dirty and uncomfortable, but my Father in the Lord taught me how to make the environment habitable. Since my wife and children were still in Ilorin, I personally washed the gutters, scrubbed the bathroom, cleaned the windows, and kept the place tidy.

It’s surprising to find Christians who look neat on the outside but live in dirty rooms. Many teenagers leave their beds cluttered with clothes and books, hide dirty plates under their beds, and allow litter to remain everywhere.

My dear child, your present habits will follow you into adulthood. If you cannot keep your room clean today, you will struggle with cleanliness when you grow up.

Cleanliness is not just about appearance; it reflects discipline, responsibility, and godliness.
