Open Heavens For Teens 18th January 2026 – The Waiting Room

The Topic of Teenagers Open Heavens for Saturday 18th January 2026 Is “The Waiting Room”

Read: Ecclesiastes 3:1–11 (KJV)

Memorise: Lamentations 3:25

“The LORD is good to those who wait for Him, to the soul who seeks Him.”

Waiting is tough, especially when life feels like it is on pause and you are eager for answers or the next big step. It can feel frustrating, lonely, and even confusing. However, the Bible reminds us that waiting is never wasted time. Psalm 27:14 encourages us: “Wait on the LORD: be of good courage, and He shall strengthen thine heart.”

Waiting may seem like nothing is happening, but behind the scenes, God is always at work. Think about a waiting room—it is not just a place to sit idly; it is where preparation happens before the next phase begins.

In the same way, seasons of waiting are moments God uses to grow you, prepare you, and align your heart with His purpose. He shapes your character, strengthens your faith, and teaches you patience.

My dear child, if you are waiting on God for success in academics, career, or business, do not just fold your hands. Stay productive by engaging in legitimate and positive activities.

Pray, study God’s Word, and ask Him to reveal the lessons He wants you to learn during this season. Most importantly, resist the temptation to take shortcuts or follow ungodly alternatives.

I pray that God will grant you the grace to wait patiently on Him and come out stronger and wiser, in Jesus’ name.
