The Topic of Teenagers Open Heavens for Wednesday 17th September 2025 Is “Blessed Beyond Disabilities”
MEMORISE:
For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, saith the LORD, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you an expected end. – (Jeremiah 29:11)

In today’s world, many children and teenagers with physical or intellectual disabilities are side-lined. They are often not responsible for their conditions, yet they suffer neglect, rejection, and pain. Mephibosheth was one such person in the Bible. Born a healthy child, his life changed when his nurse accidentally dropped him, leaving his legs permanently disfigured. After that, he was abandoned and forgotten.
But when King David decided to show kindness to Jonathan’s family, Mephibosheth’s name was mentioned. That one recommendation changed his story. I pray that even when you are not present, people will speak well of you and recommend you for favour, in Jesus’ name.
From Mephibosheth’s story, we see that despite his disability and the challenges surrounding him, he approached King David with humility and faith. He asked for mercy and, in return, received abundant blessings and restoration beyond what he could have imagined.
My dear child, perhaps you are living with a disability—physical, intellectual, or even a hidden limitation others may not see. I want you to know this: God’s plan for you is still good, beautiful, and complete. He has not forgotten you. If you put your trust fully in Him, He will turn your situation around and bless you beyond measure.

Father, please remember me for good, in Jesus’ name.
