Open Heavens For Teens 16th July 2025 – Content Creators?.

The Topic of Teenagers Open Heavens for Wednesday 16th July 2025 Is “Content Creators?.”

Read: Matthew 23:5-7(NASB)

And they do all their deeds to be noticed by other people; for they broaden their [a]phylacteries and lengthen the tassels of their garments. And they love the place of honor at banquets, and the seats of honor in the synagogues, and personal greetings in the marketplaces, and being called [b]Rabbi by the people.

Memorise: 1 Corinthians 10:31

Whether therefore ye eat, or drink, or whatsoever ye do, do all to the glory of God.

I have discovered that, nowadays, almost every young person wants to be a content creator on social media, and Christians are not left out.

When you read Matthew 23, you will see how Jesus rebuked the Pharisees and Sadducees for their hypocrisy. The Pharisees and Sadducees advocated deep religious principles such as fasting, holiness, giving, dedication, et cetera, and compelled others to obey them even though they did not live by those principles themselves. They would pray so loudly in public, for instance, yet they did not genuinely love God or people. People like the Pharisees and Sadducees can be referred to as content creators with wrong motives because they show people that they are what they are not.

My dear child, check your motives before doing the things you do. You must be careful to do all you do as unto the Lord. Do not try to put on an appearance before men that suggests that you are a child of God when you are only putting on the act so that you can have many followers and become an influencer on social media. If you are guilty of living in hypocrisy, please repent today and ask God to redirect your heart and motives.

REFLECTION: What is the motive behind everything you do?

BIBLE IN ONE YEAR: 1 Chronicles 22:1-23:32 Romans 3:9-31

HYMN 63- O FOR A THOUSAND TONGUES TO SING

1 O for a thousand tongues to sing
My great Redeemer’s praise,
The glories of my God and King,
The triumphs of his grace!

2 My gracious Master and my God,
Assist me to proclaim,
To spread thro’ all the earth abroad
The honours of your name.

3 Jesus! the name that charms ourfears,
that bids our sorrows cease,
‘Tis music in the sinner’s ears,
‘Tis life and health and peace.

4 He breaks the power of cancelled sin,
He sets the prisoner free;
His blood can make the foulest clean;
His blood availed for me.

5 Hear Him, ye dear, His praise, ye dumb,
Your loosened tongues employ
Ye blind behold your Saviour come;
And leap, ye lame, for joy.
