27 And it shall come to pass in that day, that his burden shall be taken away from off thy shoulder, and his yoke from off thy neck, and the yoke shall be destroyed because of the anointing.

How God anointed Jesus of Nazareth with the Holy Ghost and with power: who went about doing good, and healing all that were oppressed of the devil; for God was with him.
The anointing is the Holy Spirit in action. God manifests His power and carries out His plans through the anointing. You may think that you don’t need the anointing because you don’t intend to be a pastor. Well, my dear child, you need the anointing to fulfil your destiny. You also need it to withstand the wiles of the devil, who is already recruiting his end-time army among young people. If you don’t want to fall victim to his schemes, you must get the anointing of the Holy Spirit.
Today’s Bible reading shows that a fellow may not be able to overcome some of life’s struggles and the devil’s attacks without the anointing. This is why I am making a decree, as your spiritual father, that by reason of the anointing of God upon my life, every yoke of the enemy that might be holding you down will be destroyed right now, in Jesus’ mighty name. Amen!
My dear child, make up your mind from today to spend quality time in fellowship with God every day. This way, you will have access to a constant dose of His anointing so that you can fulfil God’s purpose for your life.
PRAYER POINT:
Father, please pour Your anointing upon me afresh today.
