Today’s Bible reading reminds us that time moves quickly, and opportunities do not last forever. That is why we must give our best effort in whatever we do. Many teenagers have big dreams and bold ambitions.
They speak about success, confess it in faith, and pray earnestly about it. While prayer and positive confession are important, they must be backed up with hard work. Without effort, dreams remain wishes.
Hard work is not only about making money or becoming famous. It builds discipline, strengthens character, sharpens your abilities, and prepares you for bigger opportunities in the future. Diligent people often stand out because they are reliable and committed. Beyond external success, they also enjoy the inner satisfaction of knowing they gave their best.
My dear young friend, whether you are studying for exams, learning a trade, developing a talent, or helping at home or in church, do it wholeheartedly. Work as if you are serving God Himself. He sees your consistency, your late-night reading, your practice sessions, and your small acts of service. At the right time, He will reward your diligence.
Remember, success is not accidental. It is usually the result of prayer combined with persistent effort.
