MEMORISE: Leviticus 18:22

Thou shalt not lie with mankind, as with womankind: it is abomination.

BIBLE READING: Leviticus 18:22-30

22 Thou shalt not lie with mankind, as with womankind: it is abomination.
23 Neither shalt thou lie with any beast to defile thyself therewith: neither shall any woman stand before a beast to lie down thereto: it is confusion.
24 Defile not ye yourselves in any of these things: for in all these the nations are defiled which I cast out before you:
25 And the land is defiled: therefore I do visit the iniquity thereof upon it, and the land itself vomiteth out her inhabitants.
26 Ye shall therefore keep my statutes and my judgments, and shall not commit any of these abominations; neither any of your own nation, nor any stranger that sojourneth among you:
27 (For all these abominations have the men of the land done, which were before you, and the land is defiled;)
28 That the land spue not you out also, when ye defile it, as it spued out the nations that were before you.
29 For whosoever shall commit any of these abominations, even the souls that commit them shall be cut off from among their people.
30 Therefore shall ye keep mine ordinance, that ye commit not any one of these abominable customs, which were committed before you, and that ye defile not yourselves therein: I am the Lord your God.

TEENS OPEN HEAVENS DAILY DEVOTIONAL 11TH APRIL 2025

In conclusion of the teaching I started two days ago on gender and sexuality, I will like to share an experience I once had with you. Some years ago, I was in one of the western nations to preach, and a journalist interviewed me about my views on same-sex marriage. I told the journalist that God made men and women to reproduce after their kind. I then asked the journalist, “Is it possible for people of the same gender to produce offsprings?” I concluded by telling the interviewer that if everyone got married to someone of the same sex, the world would come to an end in this generation.

As a child of God, whenever you have the opportunity to speak about homosexuality, don’t beat about the bush. One of the reasons evil thrives is that some good people are too afraid to say the truth. Don’t keep quiet when people say that they are sexually attracted to people of the same gender as them.

Don’t judge or condemn them; rather tell them the truth with love, even in countries where the government has made it illegal to speak the truth as regards homosexuality. You have a greater government in Christ, and you must represent Him everywhere you go.

KEY POINT:
Never be shy to take a stand against homosexuality.
