“Give, and it will be given to you: good measure, pressed down, shaken together, and running over will be put into your bosom. For with the same measure that you use, it will be measured back to you.”
Giving is an act of love and obedience that attracts God’s blessings. It goes beyond money or material possessions—it also includes giving your time, talents, kindness, encouragement, and support to others.
Many people think giving is easy, but true giving requires a selfless and compassionate heart. When you give cheerfully, you reflect the nature of God, who gave His greatest gift—Jesus Christ—for our salvation. Each time you bless someone with what God has given you, you become a channel of His love and make a lasting impact.
The Bible tells us in Proverbs 11:24 that “There is one who scatters, yet increases more; and there is one who withholds more than is right, but it leads to poverty.” This teaches us that generosity leads to increase, while selfishness leads to lack. God wants you to trust Him enough to give freely, knowing that He is your ultimate provider.
My dear child, develop a lifestyle of giving with a joyful heart. When you give willingly and cheerfully, God is pleased, and He rewards you in ways you may not even expect.
