MFM DAILY DEVOTIONAL 12TH NOVEMBER 2024
Life has many sides but the side ordained for every blood-bought believer is the winning side of life. This side of life is also known as the overcoming life. This is because we have been redeemed by the Lord and have been translated from a weak and pitiable kingdom into a kingdom where dominion and glory are our honour. We now live in the kingdom of his dear son, the kingdom of God. However, one of the pivotal aims of every kingdom is to extend the cultures and values of the King through the expansion of territories. Hence, all who live in a kingdom live for one purpose, they live for the king. To live their lives for themselves is to live unto death. It is essential to note that before a territory can be expanded, it must be overcome and conquered. Thus, how do we then overcome a territory?
First, we can only overcome the king of the dark kingdom by the blood of the Lamb and the word of our testimony. The blood of the lamb is the blood that binds us in our kingdom – the kingdom of light. The blood is the very blood that flows in the vein of our King. It signifies the strength of our king. Hence, anytime we declare the blood of the lamb, we enforce the strength of our king into action.
Second, the word of our testimony is another weapon of warfare to overcome the king of darkness and conquer territories that satan has in possession. The word of our testimony is the very word of God, sharper than any two-edged sword, and the enemy fears that.
Finally, it is important to understand that only obedience to the word of God will make us overcome in every battle. One of the essential weapons we must carry to conquer territories for our king is an attitudinal weapon which states “they loved not their lives unto death”. This is a weapon that makes the two weapons referenced above relevant and effectual. This attitude is the most essential value of any true General that will go far with God and conquer territories for Him. They do not live for themselves; they live for God- the King of kings!

1. O Lord my Father, purge me from my will and draw me into Your will, in the name of Jesus.
2. My Father, my Father, deliver me from my plan and draw me into Your plan, in the name of Jesus.

4. My Father, my Father, humble my soul to love not my life unto death, in the name of Jesus.
5. I receive grace to die unto self and live unto God, in the name of Jesus.
6. Blood of Jesus, deliver me into the will of heaven, in the name of Jesus.
7. Blood of Jesus, order my steps according to God’s intention for me, in the name of Jesus.
