MFM DAILY DEVOTIONAL 20TH JANUARY 2025

The word “stranger” means a person that is unknown or unfamiliar to you. Strangers are handled with utmost carefulness, especially when you know little or nothing about them. In the physical, no one will open his house wide to a stranger or keep valuables with a stranger. Strangers are kept at arm’s length for the sake of any eventualities. No wise man would allow strangers to penetrate his privacy or dominate his house. The best thing to do is either refuse to allow the stranger to occupy your space, or if he is already there, you take authority over and chase him out of your life without reservation.

As it is in the physical, so it is in the spiritual realms. Strangers in the spiritual realm are not humans. Rather, they are evil spirits, demons that seek to inhabit a man’s body. They not only gain entrance through strange avenues; they also tend to take over the life of their victim. Sometimes, they become what we call landlord spirits on the deliverance ground. They possess the human body and become the one in charge. That individual has little or no control over his or her life. They build hiding places which eventually become strongholds in people’s mind, head, blood and other organs of the body. Failure to uproot and cast out these spirits means trouble for the person. They can cause all kinds of unexplainable sufferings and afflictions, infirmities, losses and various calamities in the victim’s life.

Strangers are polluters and are able to defile the human body turning a lull-fledged human into a mere garbage bin spiritually. Such a person could be termed a living dead, empty vessel and a mere carcass. There is need to dislodge and evacuate these strange spirits and beings out of the human body, ii the person concerned wants to experience peace, success, good health and live a meaningful life. Today’s Fire Scripture is specific about what to do with strangers. The weapon of God’s fear and terror should be released against them. They shall be afraid and shall run out of their hiding places. Not only that, because your voice is hidden inside the voice of God, they have no option than to surrender themselves to God
