MFM Daily Devotional Message Thursday 3rd April 2025.

We began to look at this topic yesterday. We have established the fact, based on the Word of God, that it is the utmost desire of God our Father to bestow a glorious inheritance upon all His children. So, let it be settled in your mind that God has a great inheritance for you. The first inheritance, as already stated, is redemption, which is the gateway to the believer’s heritage.

The indwelling Holy Spirit is another inheritance given to the saints of God. In Ephesians 1:13, the Word of God says, “In whom ye also trusted, after that ye heard the word of truth, the gospel of your salvation: in whom also after that ye believed, ye were sealed with that holy Spirit of promise.” Without the Holy Spirit in the life of the believer, living successfully as a Christian and accessing the fullness of all that God has made available to us, will become absolutely impossible. When the Holy Spirit comes, He does not come empty-handed. He comes with spiritual gifts like word of wisdom, word of knowledge, discerning of spirits, prophecy, speaking in tongues, interpretation of tongues, healing, miracles, the gift of faith (1 Corinthians 12:1-11). These are all part of our inheritance in Christ.

The fruit of the Spirit – love, joy, peace, long-suffering, gentleness, goodness, faith, meekness and temperance – is part of the heritage of the saints. A believer whose life is devoid of the fruit of the Spirit will find it most difficult to live victoriously as a redeemed child of the Lord. Have you accessed this precious heritage? The inheritance of the saints is available to every genuine Christian who has had a genuine encounter with the Master. The inheritance is your birthright as a joint-heir with Christ Jesus. So, stop listening to all the lies of the devil hindering you from plunging yourself into the massive ocean of this glorious inheritance. If you have not been genuine in your commitment to Jesus Christ, I urge you to go on your knees now, confess your sins and accept Him as your Lord.

Finger of God, cut me off from every pollution, in the name of Jesus.

O Lord, make my life like a watered garden, in the name of Jesus.
Power to fully access my inheritance, fall upon me now, in the name of Jesus.
O Lord, arise for my sake and let all my enemies scatter, in the name of Jesus.
Powers of the night programmed to sponsor afflictions against me, die, in the name of Jesus.
