Daniel 1:17–20
17 God gave these four young men the wisdom and ability to learn many different kinds of writing and science. Daniel could also understand all kinds of visions and dreams.
18 At the end of the three years of training, Ashpenaz brought all the young men to King Nebuchadnezzar.
19 The king talked to them and found that none of the young men were as good as Daniel, Hananiah, Mishael, and Azariah. So these four young men became the king’s servants.
20 Every time the king asked them about something important, they showed great wisdom and understanding. The king found they were ten times better than all the magicians and wise men in his kingdom.

MFM Daily Devotional Message Thursday 25th December 2025.
Truly, wisdom is profitable.
We saw its transforming power and wonders in the life and reign of King Solomon.
Wisdom also distinguished Daniel in the land of Babylon and accounted for his rising profile. The Bible says that in all matters of wisdom and understanding, the king found Daniel and his three Hebrew brothers ten times better than all the magicians and astrologers that were in all his realms (Daniel 1:20).
Similarly, the wisdom of God distinguished Stephen, the first martyr. The Bible affirms that Stephen was committed to sharing the word of God and that the people who disputed with him were not able to resist the wisdom and the spirit by which he spoke (Acts 6:10).
I pray that the oil of wisdom will come upon your head and you will be distinguished in this generation, in the name of Jesus.
Dear reader, wisdom also distinguished our Lord Jesus Christ. The Bible calls Him One greater than Solomon. Jesus is the power and the wisdom of God to all believers (1 Corinthians 1:24), and all the treasures of wisdom and knowledge are hidden in Him (Colossians 2:3).
Wisdom was a noticeable and distinguishing feature in the life of Jesus right from childhood.
“And the child grew, and waxed strong in spirit, filled with wisdom: and the grace of God was upon him.”
Luke 2:40
Similarly, excelling wisdom was a hallmark of Jesus’ earthly ministry.
“And when he was come into his own country, he taught them in their synagogue, insomuch that they were astonished, and said, Whence hath this man this wisdom, and these mighty works?”
Matthew 13:35
As He did for Jesus, I pray that God will make you a positive wonder in this generation, in the name of Jesus.
Beloved, if you get divine wisdom as Solomon, Stephen, Daniel and Jesus did, your life and destiny will be glorious and full of testimonies.
Wisdom from above is the spiritual ingredient that will make your marriage, career, business, ministry and all become colourful and fulfilled. I encourage you to pray God’s wisdom into your life. It will enable you to reign in life!

MORNING:
Father, give me the wisdom to reign in life, in the name of Jesus.
O God, let wisdom make me unstoppable for the enemy, in the name of Jesus.
Spirit of wisdom, perfect my life, in the name of Jesus.
EVENING:
I break any covenant binding me to the spirit of folly, in the name of Jesus.
Heaven of wisdom and help open unto me now, in the name of Jesus.
O God, make divine wisdom an excelling mark in my life and ministry, in the name of Jesus.
Father, make me to grow in wisdom, stature and favour with You and all men, in the name of Jesus.
