FIRE SCRIPTURE: Job 5:19-27
19. He shall deliver thee in six troubles: yea, in seven there shall no evil touch thee.

21. Thou shalt be hid from the scourge of the tongue: neither shalt thou be afraid of destruction when it cometh.
22. At destruction and famine thou shalt laugh: neither shalt thou be afraid of the beasts of the earth.
23. For thou shalt be in league with the stones of the field: and the beasts of the field shall be at peace with thee.
24. And thou shalt know that thy tabernacle shall be in peace; and thou shalt visit thy habitation, and shalt not sin.
25. Thou shalt know also that thy seed shall be great, and thine offspring as the grass of the earth.

MFM Daily Devotional Message Wednesday 18th June 2025.
Deliverance means setting the captives free. Trouble means worry, pain, affliction, distress, difficulty, and danger. Man that is born of a woman is of few days and full of trouble (Job 14:1). No person is free from trouble. Trouble may come upon a person from God, from the devil, or from a fellow human being. God does not allow us to go through trouble often for a specific reason.
The various forms of trouble faced by human beings include illness, persecution, witchcraft attacks, curses, evil covenants, evil dedication, poverty, attack by ancestral powers, attack by destiny killers, spiritual pollution, attack through evil arrows, attack by star hijackers, attack by head manipulators, attack through transference of evil power, attack by the spirit of sexual perversion, evil plantation into a person’s life, the entry of the spirit of ungodly fear into a person, and many more. Whenever trouble comes from God, it is allowed to test and prove us as well as bring out the best in our lives.
Being a Christian does not make a person free from trouble. However, God promises in Job 5:19, “He shall deliver thee in six troubles: yea, in seven there shall no evil touch thee.” God will deliver you when you’re in trouble, not necessarily from trouble.
In Psalm 34:19, the Bible says, “Many are the afflictions of the righteous: but the Lord delivereth him out of them all.” Daniel was saved from lions (Daniel 6:20-23). Peter was released from prison by an angel (Acts 12:6-11). On the other hand, Stephen was stoned to death (Acts 7:57-60) and James, the brother of John, was killed by Herod (Acts 12:2). This does not mean that God is unconcerned about your pains.
The Bible says, “For it is better if the will of God be so, that ye suffer for well doing, than for evil doing” (1 Peter 3:17). God’s ways and works are in accordance with His plans. We are to pray for deliverance. He delivers us from troubles in accordance with His will. Pray for deliverance from trouble in accordance with the will of God. He never leaves nor forsakes His own and will surely deliver you (Isaiah 43:2).
