MFM Daily Devotional Message Sunday 16th November 2025.

True greatness is measured not by how many people serve you, but by how many people you serve. According to the wisdom of God’s kingdom, “whosoever will be great among you shall be your servant, and whosoever shall be chief among you shall be servant of all.”

Jesus demonstrated this perfectly. Though He was God, He humbled Himself, took the form of a servant, and became obedient even to the point of death (Philippians 2:5–8). His life shows us that anyone who must follow Him must embrace humility and self-denial (Matthew 16:24).

Jesus is the eternal Word through whom all things were made (John 1:1–3). Yet, out of love, He left glory, took on human flesh, allowed Himself to be humiliated, and died on the cross for those He came to serve.
He taught His disciples humility by example — even washing their feet before the Passover meal (John 13:12–15). That is the true mind of Christ.

Only with the mind of Christ can we love our enemies, bless those who curse us, pray for those who persecute us, esteem others above ourselves, and restore the lost or backslidden.

Humility is the opposite of pride. To live humbly does not mean thinking poorly of yourself; it means thinking of Jesus more, and submitting your attitude to His character. Humility is a posture of the heart.
Start showing it today. Make humility your foremost virtue and watchword.
