MFM Daily Devotional Message Thursday 13th November 2025.
An ambassador is a representative of a body, organisation or nation. He provides a link between his host and the nation or organisation he represents. He also builds good relationship between them. He is appointed by those he represents and is given authority to speak on their behalf.
An ambassador must represent the message of his leader, who is not present directly. He must also be an embodiment of the character of his leader. We are ambassadors for Christ. As noted by Paul in 2 Corinthians 5, we represent the Kingdom of God, having got its citizenship through the death and sacrifice of Christ. We became citizens of the Kingdom of God and not of the world when we became new creations (2 Corinthians 5:17).
Our work as ambassadors is to spread the gospel of Christ, the message of reconciliation. God wants to be personally reconciled to people of the world. As the church of God, we are to announce the kingdom of God and preach the gospel for people to repent and in turn become ambassadors for Christ too. We are to represent and reconnect Jesus to the world. We must first belong to the Kingdom of God instead of the kingdom of self. We must live by the standard of our new being, though He isn’t present with us. We must also accept that this world is not our home, that our eternal home (heaven) awaits us (Ephesians 6:20).
As ambassadors, we must spread His message that everyone is welcomed to have salvation and a relationship with God. Tell everyone the good news so they can join the kingdom of God.
To follow Christ means to give up everything about self and the world — take up your cross, deny yourself and follow Him. Our allegiance must be to the Kingdom of God (Matthew 16:24–25).

MORNING
My Father, make me a true representative of heaven, in the name of Jesus.
God, use me to spread the Gospel and reconcile the world to You, in the name of Jesus.
I receive the grace to be an ambassador of Christ, in the name of Jesus.
EVENING
4. I receive grace to meet and uphold the standard of God, in the name of Jesus.
5. I give up everything about self and the world, in the name of Jesus.
6. God, help me to win others to You and make them to serve You, in the name of Jesus.
7. God, help me to increase my intimacy with You and my allegiance to You, in the name of Jesus.
