JOEL OSTEEN MESSAGE FOR TODAY 9TH AUGUST 2025.
Today’s Word: God gave Nehemiah a dream to rebuild the walls around Jerusalem, but two men, Sanballat and Tobiah, did all they could to stop it from happening. Five times they tried to get Nehemiah to meet with them so they could harm him. The enemy targets people who have a dream, who know that nothing is impossible because they believe. He’ll use opposition, delays, discouragement, jealousy, and everything else he can to try to convince you to bury that dream.
If you’re going to reach your full potential, you have to make up your mind that you are in it for the long haul. You’re not going to let people talk you out of it. You’re not going to let circumstances discourage you, or let delays cause you to give up, or let critical people get you distracted. Here’s the key: You wouldn’t have the opposition if you didn’t have something great in you. If the dream weren’t alive and on track, right on schedule to come to pass, you wouldn’t have so many things coming against you. Just stay focused on your goal.
PRAYER FOR TODAY – JOEL OSTEEN 9TH AUGUST 2025.
Father, thank You that You have given me walls to rebuild and a purpose to fulfill. Give me wisdom to know when what is coming against me is simply a distraction that will get me off course. I believe that You are my defender and will fight those battles for me. In Jesus’ Name, Amen.
