JOEL OSTEEN MESSAGE FOR TODAY 1ST NOVEMBER 2025.
In 1 Samuel 25, a mean, wicked man named Nabal treated David with such contempt that he was furious. David and four hundred of his men were on the way to kill every man in Nabal’s household when Nabal’s wife, Abigail, intervened and asked for David’s forgiveness. She wisely said, “Don’t let this innocent bloodshed be a blemish on your record.” She was saying, “You’re about to make a decision that will affect your destiny.” Something inside David said, “Listen to her. She’s right,” and it kept him from a tragic mistake.
God will always have the right voices that will warn you and keep you from making a mistake, voices to encourage and push you into your destiny. We have to do as David did and be discerning. “Is this a voice I should listen to? Is this voice telling me to compromise, to get revenge, to gossip, to slack off? Or is it a voice that’s keeping me from a wrong choice, a voice that’s calling me up higher, a voice telling me what I can become?”
PRAYER FOR TODAY – JOEL OSTEEN 1ST NOVEMBER 2025.
“Father, thank You that it’s possible to rise above contempt and insults and walk in integrity. Thank You that You send the right voices to help keep me from making mistakes and what could easily cause me to live sour. Help me to listen and to be discerning. In Jesus’ Name, Amen.”
