Today’s Word By Joel Osteen – 16th October 2026.

All of us have times when we’re battling an illness, times when, medically speaking, there is nothing that can be done. But God is not limited by the natural; He’s supernatural. He knows how to correct whatever is wrong with your body. That’s why one name for God is Jehovah Rapha, “the Lord your healer.” He is saying, “Don’t worry. I’m your healer. I’m going to do what medicine cannot do and restore health to you.”

Don’t believe the lies that a medical condition is never going to change and you just have to learn to live with it. Jesus has “borne our infirmities and carried our diseases…, and by His stripes we are healed” (Isaiah 53:4–5). He didn’t leave anything out. You don’t have to endure it. Jesus already endured it. He paid the price. Healing belongs to you. It’s a part of your heritage as a child of God. You need to see the sickness as temporary. It didn’t come to stay; it came to pass. Because you are a temple of the Most High God, it has no right to be there.

PRAYER FOR TODAY – JOEL OSTEEN 16TH OCTOBER 2026.

“Father, thank You that wherever Jesus went He brought healing to all who came to Him. Thank You that my faith and expectancy can be settled that it is Your will to bring me healing. I receive Your provision of healing by faith today for whatever I need. In Jesus’ Name, Amen.”
