Today’s Word By Joel Osteen – 15th October 2026.

In Genesis 26, when Isaac was about to move to greener pastures in Egypt because of a great famine, God gave him an incredible promise: “Stay where you are, and I will bless you here.” So, despite the hardships, Isaac obeyed, planted his grain, and was supernaturally blessed with a hundredfold harvest that brought him great wealth and livestock. But the Philistines got so jealous of Isaac that they filled in his wells, and the king told him he had to move away. It wasn’t fair, but Isaac knew God’s promise that a greater blessing remained. Here’s the key: You can be in God’s will and face opposition, but if you keep doing the right thing, God will take you to something greater. When we face disappointments and setbacks, it’s easy to get discouraged and give up on what we’re believing for. But sometimes you have to pass through injustice to discover the open door to what He has promised. You can’t see it, but it’s all a part of His plan to bring you into an abundant place, something bigger than you’ve ever imagined.

1. Grace to Sow in Famine: Heavenly Father, grant me unwavering faith to sow seeds of obedience, generosity, and diligent service even when natural circumstances suggest lack or limitation. Let supernatural favor rest upon every endeavor of my hands, causing me to experience a hundredfold return despite prevailing hardship, in Jesus’ name. (Genesis 26:12)
2. Deliverance from Strife and Offense: Lord, when envy, opposition, or injustice arise against my progress, preserve my heart from bitterness and retaliation. Give me the wisdom of Isaac to walk away from petty disputes, trusting that You alone are my vindicator who will lead me to open spaces of peace and divine enlargement, in Jesus’ name. (Genesis 26:22)
3. Supernatural Elevation Through Opposition: Almighty God, I pray that every closed door, blocked well, or unfair treatment orchestrated by the adversary would be converted into a divine stepping stone toward my Rehoboth.
