GOODNEWS DAILY TEACHING BY UEBERT ANGEL 29TH MAY 2023.
The Bible tells us that while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us (Romans 5:8 KJV). This kind of love is rare; very hard nowadays to even extend a hand of friendship to someone you don’t know, but the father’s love should capture our attention in our Christian experience. This is the expression of love that is expected amongst Christians; your love for a brother and sister should depict the same kind of love exemplified by Jesus and shouldn’t be subject to certain conditions.
When we say love the unlovable, it goes across the board. Your association, inside and outside the church, should portray this character of embracing one another without nervousness. When you see your brother or sister going off the mark or falling short somewhere or in something, your correction should be done purely out of this “Agape” love. We are Christ’s imitators and written epistles and need to function like Christ. True love should envelop our interactions with fellow Christians and non-Christians alike.
The likes of hatred, anger, gossip, and back-biting are the enemy’s strategy of sowing seeds of division and discord. Let love flow out of your conversation, and by so doing, more souls will be won to Christ. Christ is the epitome of true love, and we need to imitate that.
PROPHETIC DECLARATION
I shall let love flow out of my conversations. There will be no hidden agenda in my approach to others. I function like Christ; I’m a carrier of Agape love and my life shall continue to blossom. Amen!
