The key to your healing could be in your thanksgiving. It has been medically proven that gratitude improves your physical health. Grateful people have healthier immune systems, sleep better, and enjoy a better standard of health than people who are less grateful. The Bible tells us that we should give thanks in everything.
Notice, it does not say in “some things” or in “good things” only. In any and every situation, we must give thanks. That means it is possible. There is a big difference between giving thanks for everything and giving thanks in everything. Giving thanks for everything is an action. Giving thanks in everything is an attitude.
A person with an attitude of thanksgiving does not wait for something good to happen; they look for something good in everything that happens. No situation is exempt from the opportunity to give thanks. The Bible says we know—we eídō, we are aware—that all things work together for good.
When you realize this, you understand that you can never be disadvantaged. No matter how dire the situation may seem, something good has to come out of it for you. That is why you can be thankful despite what you’re going through. Refuse to indulge in self-pity. Instead, embrace an attitude of gratitude and watch doors open for you.
PROPHETIC DECLARATION
My eyes are open to see the good in every situation. My circumstances are my employees, and they are working overtime for my benefit. Something good is coming out of every situation I am facing. Therefore, I can never be disadvantaged.
