As a parent or leader, you naturally love your children because they’re yours, but certain traits, obedience, intelligence, or birth order, for example can deepen that love. Here, Jesus gives us a different reason why the Father loves Him. You’d expect Him to say it’s because He preaches or performs miracles, but instead, He says, “Because I lay down my life and take it up again.”
God loves those who refuse to stay down. In a world filled with persecution, disappointment, and terror, rise like an edifice, strong and unshaken. Be an example of resilience. Even if you feel overwhelmed by failure, disappointment, or despair, tell yourself, “When I’m buried, I don’t stay down, I rise again!”
From today, no situation will bury you. You’re rising up in the Name of Jesus!
PROPHETIC DECLARATION
I refuse to be buried by my circumstances or background. I rise like the horn of a unicorn. My life is heavily protected and heavily defended in the Name of Jesus. Hallelujah!
